Do you have a medical condition?

If you have any medical conditions at all, such as asthma, high blood pressure, depression or diabetes you must declare them to make sure your cover is valid.

Medical conditions information

The world is your oyster and if you are lucky enough to be travelling far and wide from Paris to the Bahamas or maybe Las Vegas to New York, don’t leave home without your travel insurance. Worldwide travel insurance could protect you against the unexpected for costs such as emergency medical treatment, flight delays or even losing your baggage, wherever on your bucket list you might be.

What does worldwide travel insurance cover?

No matter where you are travelling to on your trip, you need to make sure you are covered before you travel. At A to Z Insurance, we’ll cover you for:

  • Medical expenses should you become ill or injure yourself on your trip
  • Lost or stolen luggage
  • Cancellation or curtailment of your trip, should you need to claim back any money for accommodation, transport or cutting your trip short
  • Accident, liability and legal cover as every country in the world has different laws

Which countries will I be covered for under worldwide insurance?

Worldwide travel insurance provides cover for almost everywhere in the world including:

  • Europe
  • North & South America
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Asia
  • Africa

Our policies will not cover anyone travelling to a country, region or area where the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) have advised against "all travel" or "all but essential travel". If you continue to travel, your policy will be void and any claims may be declined. For travel information on your destination, please check Foreign travel advice - GOV.UK

What policy is right for me?

Here are some tips to help you with finding the right cover through A to Z Insurance:

If you’re travelling more than once in a year it’s wise to compare the prices of a single trip with an annual multi-trip policy, it may very well be cheaper to take out the annual policy then you’re covered for a year for all your trips.

  • Make sure your cancellation cover is high enough to cover the cost of our holiday. If your flights and hotel come to £2,500, you need cancellation cover for at least £2,500, remember it’s per person, so if you’re travelling as a couple and spending £2,500 on your holiday, you can split that between you when it comes to cancellation cover.
  • A to Z Insurance offer different levels of cover depending on your needs, higher cover levels give you more protection. It may well be worth you taking out the next level of cover, which could cost a few pounds extra, to give you thousands of pounds more cover should something unforeseen happen. The higher the cover level, the lower the excess too!

Can I purchase any additional optional extras on my policy for a wedding or a winter sports holiday?

Think about any cover options or optional extras you may want to select depending on the reasons for your trip. A to Z Insurance make it easy to select these options before purchasing the policy:

  • Winter sports if you’re heading for a snow filled week in France, giving you cover for piste closure, equipment or weather related trip disruption.
  • Golf if combining your city break with some much loved golfing, covering your equipment and green fees.
  • Cruise if embarking on a short cruise whilst away, covering you for missed port, cabin confinement and unused excursions as well as increasing cover for baggage.
  • Gadget cover is covered automatically on our Standard and Premium policies. However, you have the option to add gadget cover to Essential or increase the cover on Standard and Premium to safeguard your technology, such as phones, laptops, tablets, and smartwatches, from loss, theft, and damage.
  • Wedding cover if you’re lucky enough to be planning a city break to get married to the love of your life! This provides cover for rings, gifts, wedding dress/suit, photos and videos.
  • Excess waiver which removes the excess amount from any claim you make.

Always declare any medical conditions you have, you will be asked about these before we give you the quote for your policy.
