If you have any medical conditions at all, such as asthma, high blood pressure, depression or diabetes you must declare them to make sure your cover is valid.
At A to Z Insurance we want to make sure that you are protected for any eventuality including Covid-19. Our insurance policies will provide emergency medical, repatriation, cancellation if you or a travel companion test positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of your booked departure date and curtailment cover if a close relative is hospitalised requiring mechanical ventilation or dies as a result of Covid-19 diagnosis as standard.
A to Z Insurance can also provide added protection for you and your family by offering enhanced Covid-19 cover. With the enhanced Covid-19 option this can be added to any of our three levels of cover for travel in Europe only on our optional extras section.
The enhanced Covid-19 cover provides the following additional benefits:
Adverse Covid-19 vaccine reaction: Cancellation cover if you experience an adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine within 14 days prior to your scheduled departure date and are advised that you are no longer fit to travel by a medical practitioner.
Travelling against FCDO advice: Protection should you choose to travel against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) as long as the advice is against all but essential travel solely as a result of COVID-19.
Incomplete Covid-19 vaccination course: Cancellation cover if you are unable to complete your covid-19 vaccination course before your trip start date due to unforeseen illness.
UK Government Test and Trace: Cancellation cover should you be contacted by the UK Government’s Test and Trace service and have to self-isolate meaning you miss your pre-booked outward journey; you will be able to a make claim for cancellation.
